I’m sure you’re excited about springtime! Sunshine, flowers, longer days, and everything in bloom! It’s perfect for a new project and making new memories!

I am obsessed with “Memories” on my phone and like to organize them and share them with my loved ones! And I often catch myself looking back at spring and summer photos and videos… so let me tell you, organizing a photoshoot in spring is definitely a good idea!

Now, this time, I want to share some super silly and exciting dog Easter photoshoot ideas! It will include some props that I’m sure you’re gonna enjoy buying!

1 Easter Bunny Photoshoot

Now, this is something you probably saw before, but Easter Bunny ears are super easy to find. You can find them anywhere, from Dollar Store to cheap decor shops, and they are so fun!

Get a pair for every dog you have! And get some for yourself, your kids, and other family members who want to participate.

Get a matching set if you want to do this photoshoot together!

Also, if you have a small dog, you can find an entire Easter Bunny costume for your dog. Just make sure it’s not super hot so they can wear it. If they hate it, don’t pressure them, stick with the bunny ears.

2 Easter Egg Hunt Photoshoot

If you’re organizing the Easter Egg Hunt for your dog, then you can do the photoshoot there! Record them while they’re looking for eggs, and make sure to capture that final victorious moment when they find them!

You can also put them in costumes and bunny ears for the hunt and the photoshoot!

3 Dog Easter Photoshoot with the Family

I love this, as I can dress my baby and my fur baby at the same time! Family Easter photoshoots are amazing, and one of the things we do is decorate the Easter table and then take a selfie at the table with our dog in the center.

When we do this with my parents, their family dog wears a flower crown, while my dog wears bunny ears. And we’re all dressed in pastel and springtime colors!

When it comes to doing the dog Easter photoshoot with a baby, this is super fun as you can dress them in matching outfits! I suggest dressing your dog as a bunny and your baby as a small chicken. It will take thousands of shots to get a perfect one, as they wiggle all the time, but still, it’s so much fun!

Make a special Easter basket for your dog with Easter eggs and plastic eggs filled with treats and their favorite snacks!

If you’re in the mood to splurge, you can subscribe to a treat box and get a special Easter box of treats!

You can, of course, do this yourself and then reuse the box for other holidays. That way, they will remember it and get super excited every year.

5 Easter Flower Girl Photoshoot

I have a friend who owns a photo studio, and he specializes in family portraits. He has the most outrageous backdrops and props, and he changes them on demand but also in seasonality!

Around Easter time, he puts up huge flower walls, soft and fluffy artificial grass, and colorful backgrounds that look amazing in the photos!

I’m not saying you should take your dog to the studio (if you do, please send us some pics!), but you can go outside and find some flowers!

Make the most of the golden hour, get some flower crowns and props, and do the photoshoot in the park surrounded by flowers.

6 Make a Family Picnic with Your Dog

I love this one as it includes everyone, and you can get to spend time outside! Organize a dog-friendly picnic in your local park, and bring some Easter props! Eggs, snacks, deli meat and drinks, and lots of toys, bunnies, and chickens!

You can all wear bunny ears or flowers and create some amazing memories together!

By the way, dogs can eat eggs, and they are good for them, but don’t give them too much as they are pretty nutrient-dense and can cause tummy issues if they overeat!
